Report Cards

Morgan and Adrian came home with their report cards yesterday. They both did wonderfully so I treated them to Kolache Factory this morning to celebrate.

Morgan
Reading: 96
Writing: 98
Spelling: 97
Math: 97
Social Studies: 91
Science: 97
She came home with 3 ribbons too: Blue for "A Honor Roll", Yellow for "Good Conduct", and Green for "Perfect Attendance".
Comments from the teachers were "Great problem solving skills" from Mrs. Foster and "Puts forth exceptional effort" from Mrs. Boyd.

Adrian
Adrian received all "S's" and "3's" which is the best that you can get in Kindergarten. He also came home with his red ribbon for participating in the science festival. The comment from Mrs. Nusbaum was, "Adrian continues to grow in all academic areas. He shows a great interest in science and social studies activities and is always eager to seek out new information."

As always I am so very proud of my babies!!

GT Presentation

Morgan and the other GT students gave their Power Point presentations on Thursday. Morgan's presentation was on Susan B. Anthony so she dressed up like her. They presented to the parents of the 4 GT students, their two teachers, and the principal of the school. I was really proud of them for going up there and speaking even though they were visibly nervous. Hurrah to them!
